聽風的歌
聽風的歌是村上春樹的第一部作品，傳說是在他先前經營的酒吧耗時四個月完成的作品。故事內容其實平淡無奇，故事中心繞著：「我」與我的朋友「老鼠」在傑酒吧及生活中的大小事為主軸，有時點綴一些小人物，就這樣成了一個故事甚或一本書。
比較特別的地方是，人物以「我」為出發點，拉近了不少與讀者的距離。「我」有可能是正在閱讀的人亦或是作者本身，這種寫法帶點虛幻與真實的交錯，讓人輕易的深陷故事其中。
故事內容有幾次提及到「文章」這件事；
「寫文章這種作業，其實就是在確認自己與週遭事物之間的距離。必要的不是感性，而是尺度。」
「所謂完美的文章不存在，就像完美的絕望不存在一樣。」
當然，其中也一再提及作者最愛的作家哈德費爾。
平淡的故事，隱藏著失去的哀傷，第一個及第二個叔叔和奶奶的死亡，有病死和戰死和老死，還有主角的第三個女友上吊身亡，一切的一切。
朋友的相聚與分離，過了幾年歲月的流逝，回不到的從前，就這樣回憶那年夏天發生的事、遇到的人。
平淡的故事，也許每天在生活周遭不斷輪迴上演，朋友的來來去去、暫時的哀傷總會過去，剩下回憶偶爾咀嚼，人生不過如此！
夏天記憶的風、淡淡掠過髮梢、抬頭望望天空、就讓時間悄悄溜過…
耳邊迴盪起，村上在書中聽的歌曲--California Girls。
